Wednesday, February 13, Mustard Seeds and Mountains came of age; we turned 21 years old.
Mustard Seeds was put together, from vision to documented legal entity, while we were living in Ontario, California. It became incorporated as a West Virginia non-profit on February 13, 1992.

Back then Mustard Seeds was a dream in the heart of one man: Randy Wallace. Today, after 21 years “in the trenches”, he is using the knowledge gained and lessons learned to continue to build the Kingdom of God even beyond the scope of Mustard Seeds and Mountains.

But ministry is never a one man show, it was never intended to be that and never was that, even when Randy and Jacque were the only ones in WV running the “show”, so to speak.  We have sought others to come along with us on this faith venture. And they came through the years, scores of fellow workers in the form of board members, staff, donor-partners, and hundreds of volunteers and praying friends of the ministry. Without these, Mustard Seeds would never have accomplished anything.
There is one more who was with us from the start, one we could not have done anything without and who has stayed with us through all the ups and downs of the past 21 years: God our Father. In fact, it was all His idea to start with. And though Randy is the founder and president of Mustard Seeds and Mountains, God is the Owner. It was never Randy’s, or mine. It has always been God’s. We are co-laborers with Him and keep a keen ear tuned to hear what He tells us.

It is very humbling to be able to work alongside God, doing the things He wants done. There is no thing we’d rather be doing than His will.
Happy Birthday, Mustard Seeds and Mountains.
